It's been a loong time, but guess I just need a place to vent my frustrations and unhappiness, so here I am.

A lot has happened lately, and I'm really affected. I got a C for one of my assignments, which is, to me, really really bad. To think that I once promised my mom that I would do better in poly than in sec school. Sad. I'm so disappointed in myself.

Okay now, time for my rants...

I don't want you to get back with your ex. Going back to him would be like reading the same book again, the ending is the same. I can't bear it when i read all your tweets about how much he has hurt you, and how you cry yourself to sleep every night. It pains me when I hear that you are always giving in to him, and yet he is nonchalant about all that you have done. Honestly, is he retarded or something? There is this girl who loves you so much, so willing to sacrifice for you, and yet, every time when she wants to spend time with you, you claim to be tired.

I mean, really? Even if you are genuinely tired, why give her the cold shoulder? Even when she goes all the way to your place and accompany you, you would just plant yourself in front of the tv to watch a goddamn soccer match. REALLY? What kind of a boyfriend are you?

And now, back to you. If only you know how affected I was when you told everyone what all of your previous boyfriends had treated you. I could tell you, my heart totally shattered. I was depressed. But you know, of course I can't tell you that, because i know, you still like him. Maybe I won't even tell you how I feel, because most importantly, I just want you to be happy. I won't even utter a word, just knowing that you are happy, makes me... Happy. But if given a chance, I will prove to you that not all guys are jerks. I can't promise that I will not make mistakes, but rest assured, that you will NEVER feel hurt or cry yourself to sleep ever again. I will treat you right, I will walk beside you. I will reply your texts. I will go wherever you feel like going. I will be awake until you fall asleep. I will clean your mouth after eating ice cream. I will be there whenever you need me. I promise.

Metal has no DNA; machines have no genes. But that doesn't mean they don't have pedigrees — ancestral lines every bit as elaborate as our own.

That's surely the case with the Ares 1 rocket. The best and smartest and coolest thing built in 2009 — a machine that can launch human beings to cosmic destinations we'd never considered before — is the fruit of a very old family tree, one with branches grand, historic and even wicked.

There are a lot of reasons astronauts haven't moved beyond the harbor lights of low-Earth orbit in nearly 40 years, but one of them is that we haven't had the machines to take us anywhere else. The space shuttle is a flying truck: fine for the lunch-bucket work of hauling cargo a couple of hundred miles into space, but nothing more. In 2004, however, the U.S. committed itself to sending astronauts back to the moon and later to Mars, and for that, you need something new and nifty for them to fly. The answer is the Ares 1, which had its first unmanned flight on Oct. 28 and dazzled even the skeptics.

From a distance, the rocket is unprepossessing — a slender white stalk that looks almost as if it would twang in the Florida wind. But up close, it's huge: about 327 ft. (100 m) tall, or the biggest thing the U.S. has launched since the 363-ft. (111 m) Saturn V moon rockets of the early 1970s. Its first stage is a souped-up version of one of the shuttle's solid-fuel rockets; its top stage is a similarly muscled-up model of the Saturn's massive J2 engines.

If that general body plan doesn't exactly break ground, that's the point. NASA tried breaking ground with the shuttles and in doing so broke all the rules. Shuttle astronauts sit alongside the fuel — next to the exploding motor that claimed Challenger, beneath the chunks of falling foam that killed Columbia. And when you fly a spacecraft repeatedly as opposed to chucking it after a single use, there's a lot of wear to repair.

When NASA engineers gathered to plan the next generation of America's rockets, they thus decided to go back to the future — way back. The Saturn V was the brainchild of Wernher von Braun, the German scientist whose bright genius gave the U.S. its finest line of rockets — and whose dark genius gave Hitler the V2 missile that rained terror on London. Von Braun had, in turn, drawn insights from American rocket pioneer Robert Goddard. Goddard built on the work of 17th century artillery innovator Kazimierz Siemienowicz, a Pole.

The Ares 1 is a worthy descendant of their rockets and others, with lightweight composites, better engines and exponentially improved computers giving it more reliability and power. The Ares 1 will launch an Apollo-like spacecraft with four crew members — perhaps by 2015. Alongside it, NASA is developing the Brobdingnagian Ares V, a 380-ft. (116 m) behemoth intended to put such heavy equipment as a lunar lander in Earth orbit, where astronauts can link up with it before blasting away to the moon. Somewhere between the two rockets is the so-called Ares Lite — a heavy-lift hybrid that could carry both humans and cargo and is intended to be a design that engineers can have in their back pockets if the two-booster plan proves unaffordable.

The new rockets could take astronauts to some thrilling places. The biggest costs — and risks — associated with visiting other celestial bodies are from landing and taking off again. But suppose you don't land? An independent commission appointed by the White House to make recommendations for NASA's future recently returned its 154-page report and made strong arguments for bypassing the familiar boots-in-the-soil scenario in favor of a flexible path of flybys and orbits.

The finest moments occur when the bureaucrats give the designers a clean sheet of drafting paper and let them dream. There's genius in knowing how to create a truly big invention — and there's wisdom in knowing how to

Choir was okay, as usual.

The guys' section had 3 musical notes today! :) A stunning record!

Then went with the seniors and alumni (and Miss Ong)to NP to have dinner.

We chatted and talked about a lot of stuff.

Dunno what to write lah...

I got this post from another blog. It's about choir in the past. Rather interesting and unique.

Last week I was going through a pile of old music articles which I had photocopied for my Music and Gender class last year and there was one essay in particular that caught my attention once again. It is a topic I am close to since I was randomly assigned to present on this topic by the Professor and I actually have no idea what the topic was. The article was simple entitled "Pieces and Breeches" from the The Diva's Mouth text. I flipped through the article and quickly began to realize that is was a paper on Castrati. For those of you who have not come across the term, Castrati, this was a term used to describe, as you can probably guess from its root word, castrated men. They were described as being "ethereal, other worldly, disembodied, and superhuman." This was the case because these castrated males lacked the necessary hormones for regular male development during puberty; thus, they maintained their pre-pubescent voices. In addition to retaining their angelic voices, the Castrati were also less muscular and on average taller than other males with a torso that was commonly described as barrel-chested. But most importantly, their flexibly high voices and vocal training was uninterrupted by puberty.

Historically, the Castrati were not originally operatic divas. They were actually formed because the Church required choir boys to sing soprano and alto parts in the upper registers of music once polyphony was introduced. Women were not allowed to sing in church choirs at this time. Although castration practices were sketchy to say the least, this sterile subset of men filled a very specific niche in the musical world. However, they soon branched out and a few famous Castrati, such a Farinelli, found fame in the Operatic world. They were both celebrated and feared characters. These "half-men" had a reputation for possessing extravagant tastes and extremely bad tempers. It was reported that there were sing-off's between Farinelli and Bernacchi in order to top the vocal genius of the other and even Marchesi demanded that his choice aria should be worked into every Opera he performed in; thus, forming the term "suitcase arias." The Castrati also challenged gender roles because they either played lovers and nobles or else they played women. Even the Castrati seemed to entice Casanova as seen in this performance review:

In a well-made corset, he had the waist of a nymph... his breast was in no way inferior, either in form or beauty, to any woman's; and it was above all by this means that the monster made such ravages. Though one knew the negative nature of this unfortunate, curiosity made one glance at his chest, and an inexpressible charm acted upon one, so that you were madly in love before you realized it... When he walked about the stage during the ritornello of the aria he was to sing, his step was majestic and at the same time voluptuous; and when he favored the boxes with his glances, the tender and modest rolling of his black eyes brought a ravishment to the heart. It was obvious that he hoped to inspire the love of those who liked him as a man, and probably would not have done so as a woman. (Heriot 54-55)

The Castrati's ability to seduce both sexes turned him into a musical fetish. They were able to disrupt traditional gender categories because they were some of the first instances when men were able to substitute for women. Off-stage a number of Castrati were also cross-dressers. Castrati were also seen as superior to women in some ways because they were were not a slave to hormonal fluctuations. There were reports of women who had to wear a red flower pin when they were performing, while undergoing her monthly female cycle, in order for the audience to excuse the fact that she may not be in top singing form. There was also a fair amount of speculation surrounding Castrati since these exotic male temptresses were often rumored to be having affairs with many women, but due to the fact that they were sterile, the women never needed to worry about becoming impregnated and being discovered by their husbands. As well, a woman reported that she had 2 children with a Castrato and, in that sense, his incomplete castration made him the complete, ideal man.

Even though Castrati are extinct now, I believe that the role they played in the musical world is a pivotal one because they were able to pave the way for female singers. Due to the fact that they had both male and female characteristics, in many ways they were a transitional gender figure. After the reign of Castrati, it was not as hard for society to accept female sopranos and a new age of Operatic divas. It is just interesting to consider the role of men in music. The Castrati were initially for choir-use only but were soon worshiped on the Operatic stage. However, in the present day, if there is a man singing in a choir, often, his sexuality is questioned at least once in his lifetime. That is just because music and sexuality are so closely related. The need and desire to perform music is inherently tied to behaviors and tendencies which can be classified as "homosexual." A performing male does not subscribe to the socially accepted norms of masculine behavior which condone emotional repression. Therefore, it is seen that we must continually challenge what society sees as acceptable masculine behavior. Maybe a boy singing in choir isn't the coolest thing he can be doing... but if it worked in 18th C Italy for the Castrati, why can't it still be like that? Although I do not condone seedy castration practices, I do want to challenge peoples ways of thinking when it comes to stereotyping the roles of men within music. What is acceptable masculine behavior and who gets to decide what that is? I believe we must do it for ourselves instead of swayed by what society has deemed to be acceptable masculine acts. The Castrati signaled a time when men were able to play both men and women and embrace both sides of their character; thus, instead of questioning a musical man's sexual orientation we should just simply be accepting it.

Just something to think about next time we meet. As well, if you scroll down halfway on the Wikipedia page, they have a sound clip of what the last Castrato, Alessandro Moreschi, sounded like.

As well, here is a clip from the movie "Farinelli." This movie did not have actual Castrati voice tracks but they digitally merged a soprano and countertenor voice to create what they believe is representative of a Castrato sound.

Committee Movie

Watched 2012 today. It was a science fiction movie.

I did not quite understand some of the parts.

Earlier in the morning...

Reached sch at 10.01am. Saw all the altos there in the AVA.

Lol, i thought there was committee meeting today?

Bryan came back from Com lab 4.

he had been using the free lab access to find showtimes for the above mentioned movie.

After 10 minutes, altos left.

After a while, Bing Cheng arrived. He was late for ... 50 mins. -.-

Had meeting and waited for rain to stop.

We left for Northpoint when the rain stopped at about 1pm.

But waited for Cheryl for 20 odd mins cox she had to talk to Miss Ang

Saw Wiphaporn in sch today. I thought there were no papers today?

Well, took 812 and arrived at NP at approximately 1.20pm. Bought our tickets and ate at The Food Mall.

The movie lasted for about 2h 45 mins. It was fast paced and i didn't quite get some of the parts, but overall, it was enjoyable.

I kept ~~stealing~~ taking some popcorn from Bing Cheng and Ying Yang.

Actually Ying Yang was short of some money when he wanted to buy the popcorn,

so i topped it up and got the privilege of sharing his popcorn.

Aiya... Today's choir practice wasn't so smooth-sailing. During combined, i dunno what happened lah, but i was feeling groggy. (Maybe due to the "alcoholic" drink i had.) To make the matters worse, i had to do the solo part for "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas." Tried a few times, EPIC FAIL. Cannot reach... T.T During/halfway through the song, something happened.

RESULT: Miss Ong was... very disheartened.

She said one phrase which i still remembered: "Singing is thought to be the most challenging instrument to master IN THE WORLD. Few people have mastered it." and something else which i have forgotten liao =X

Performance is less than a month away. OMG. We have not even done/complete a single FULL song. *sigh*

Today had choir. It was alright as usual. When to eat Mac with Ying Yang, Tian Jie, Bryan and Bing Cheng after that. We just slacked for about 2 hours over there. Went home at about 7.

I did poorly for my both Maths. Maybe will go tuition. T.T

Literature Paper

Just had my Lit paper today. Was almost late for it. The questions were so hard. Had trouble answering some of them. I dunno why, but after Lit classes or Lit exams, i will feel a bit emo. =x Maybe it's due to the amount of thinking involved. Lol. Was tired after that. Nothing else for today, don't wanna talk about the E Maths paper.

I had been thinking; are exams really that important? I had done some thinking with regards to it. On average, we live for 80 years. We spend about 15 years studying. Convert to fractions, that's about 15/80=3/16. That's bout a mere 18.75% of our average entire lifespan.

Now, i am not saying that studying is not important and can be neglected. But we do not have to stress ourselves over it. When you cannot solve a mathematics question, it's no use stressing yourself over it. ask friends or seek help from teachers. No use trying to conquer it yourself when you cannot do it.

100%-18.75%=81.25%

the other 81.25% is outside of studying. It's about your career, love, family, friends and lots of other things. Your life is not only about studying.

Seriously, it is not good to stress yourself over studies. If you do not do well in examinations, just know that you've already tried your best and that's what matters! But it does not mean that you can slack!!!

So i hope after this, you will not feel sad about your results. Be optimistic (i spelt it correctly!) and good luck. =D

Belated Post

On the 15th of August, we had the flag day. This time, it was for the Lions Home for the Elderly. So we had to go around ~~begging~~ asking funds from people, and it was at Juncti8n. I was the first to arrive there at about 8.00am? And then Bryan came. It seems that he was earlier. He just got off the Circle Line. Lol. He came at 7.45am+ and took the Circle Line for fun. Very stupid leh. Nothing better to do... -.-

Ok, so i met up with Bryan. And there are two exits at the Bishan MRT. So, we (me and him) were waiting at one exit, further from the Junction 8 shopping mall. As luck would have had it, some people were waiting at the other exit. So we walked to the other exit/entrance. It was then about 8.45am, so quite a number of people had arrived. They were assembling outside the mall in a group. Then Bing Cheng came. (No need to elaborate lah, you all know what he's like. :P)

When all the sec 3s choir members had arrived, we proceed to have breakfast then went to ~~redeem~~ collect our tin cans, stickers and the certificate of authorization. After that, me, Bing Cheng and Bryan decided to go to Toa Payoh to collect donations, as we think that the human traffic there is better than in Bishan. So we took that MRT there.

We reached there at about 10.45am. For the next 2 hours, we went around the district to get donations. There were many factors that lead to the low amount of donations collected.

1. There were other schools there.

2. The economy is still recovering, so people tend to shy away from charity related activities or events.

3. There were a slight drizzle, thus reducing the number of people passing by.

4. We I was too shy to request for donations. (I know this is my own mistake, but...)

5. We could not be bothered to walk long distances, as there wasn't enough time for us to do so.

The donation drive ended at about 1.30pm. We went back to Bishan and walked around for a while and then went back to Yishun. Still got the "committee outing". The first of its kind! =)

That's about it, I think. Will talk more about the outing in the next post. :)

The committee outing was at Sembawang park. The aim was to promote teamwork and trust in the committee members. We reached there at about 3pm. Then we had a little snack before proceeding with the team-building games. It lasted for about 2 hours before it rained heavily (and a sudden one too.). We left at about 5pm. Then we went to the Sembawang interchange, and had a random meeting there. Yes, meeting at bus interchange, how cool is that? Then after meeting we were dismissed. Me, Bryan and Bing Cheng went to Northpoint to have dinner. It was then about 6pm. When we reached there, we scouted around the mall for any food outlets which had "buffet" promotions. We had wanted to eat Sakae Sushi, but the queue was damn looooong. So we walked around for another 5 mins before Bryan couldn't take it any longer. He assumed the leadership role and took us to a place called Express Teppanyaki. It sold set meals priced from $10 to $20 onwards. The place was rather cool, i must admit. Your food was prepared "LIVE" by a chef, right in front of you. As in the chef cooked it right in front of you, with the smoke, steam, frying, seasoning, stunts and everything. It was enjoyable. Lisbon Chambers Choir

On last Saturday, the whole choir went to Victoria Concert Hall for the Lisbon Chambers Choir concert. We arranged to meet at Yishun Mrt station, then took the train to City Hall where we alighted. Afterwards we walked a short distance to VCH. We waited for around 20 minutes, then Ms Ong arrived. She handed out the tickets and then the whole choir went into the concert hall.

The concert was perfect and the voices of Lisbon Chambers choir rang thorough the whole hall in crisp, crystal-clear tones. Their crescendos, decrescendos pitch, rhythm, pitching was unrivalled. It was an adult choir, by the way. One of the choir's vocalist was rather humourous and made the audiences laugh at different points of the show. after the show, the whole choir went to Marina Square to have dinner. The girls went home first, while the guys stayed back a little longer to chat. We talked a lot of rubbish and made stupid jokes, lol.

Yesterday was National Day performance. we had to perform in the school hall for the celebrations.

When it was our turn, we went up the stage. Oh yeah, *smiles*. So we went upstage. We sang two songs, My Island Home and What Do You See. Halfway during What Do You See, a group of mostly Malay guys ~~went~~ rushed up the stage and ~~sang~~ shouted the chorus of What Do You See. It was chaotic. It was frightening and fun at the same time to see so many audiences down there and ~~crazy~~ enthusiastic people running up the stage. After that we went back to our classes.

It was quite fun doing that performance. Its a pity we i can't do it again next year.

Biotech Fair: The 2-in-1 Version

Lolz, finally the Biotech Fair had come to an end. It was held at the Singapore Science Centre. we took a cab there. :) I paid for the fare, then took the receipt to claim it back from Miss Chew. The fair lasted for about 2 days, no, it was 2 days. There were two teams. The first day was something like the prelude, where the official judges came and look at our exhibits. 2nd day was for the public and other guests to view the displays. On the first day, the hall wasn't open to public yet. The first day was quite boring, until the judges came to our booth. -.- I was quite nervous and made quite a few mistakes in the presentation. Sorry team. T.T Yeah, then after the presentation was over, i breathed a sigh of relief. We stayed there for about another half an hour before Miss Chew, who was there, told us to pack up and leave. Before she left, she asked who was willing to come again on the 2nd day of the fair to receive the certificates. With absolutely ZERO hesitation, me and Bing Cheng consented. I think it was because of the chance to skip some classes. Hahas. Oh yeah, me and Bing Cheng went was for our team. the other team was represented by this girl called Sally. I think that's her name. Aft all that commotion, we (all of the two teams except Miss Chew) then went to eat McDonalds, then we MRT-ed home. Also on that day, i did not go for chem srp, sorry Mrs Lee :)

Then on the second day, we ended class at... 12.10pm? After the Elect class. I met up with Bing Cheng and Sally then we took a cab there. Again, i paid for the fare. Yet again. Reached there at about 1.15pm? Not sure though.. We waited there for about 1.5 hours before the place was open to the public, where the people came in to view the exhibits from all the schools.. After approximately 30 mins, we got our certs. We gotten a COP. It was challenging to win cos there were about 20 odd schools participating and only 1 of each gold, silver and bronze were awarded. All the other schools got a COP, same as us. after we got the certificates, we went to have some food provided by the people there. It was mee goreng witha bit of egg and veg here and there. Coupled with lotsa chilli and 4 cupsful of semi-diluted orange liquid, i finished my 3 servings of noodles. After the 4pm lunch, we went around the whole science centre to see the different stuff there. Yeah, we neglected our booths. But i went back once in a while to check on it. The poster of the other team fell TWICE. Stupid masking tape. The fair ended at around 4.30pm. So we walked around the science centre for bout 0.5 hours, then Sally went home at around 5pm. Both of us stayed until the science centre closed at six o'clock. We took the MRT home. Had fun switching trains for around 4 times in order to aviod the crowds. First time i took the Circle Line. Then my friend smsed me to tell me that i had missed the ss srp on that day, so thats the reason why my name was called out today. Anyway, ss is super boring. That sounds logical.

Maybe the two teams might get to go on stage during the honouring ceremony next thursday. OMG.

WOW.

Not ~~tagged~~ blogged for like almost a month..

Was busy with Facebook and such.

Oh yeah, during the june holidays, i've watched like, *counting*, 4 movies?

In one month, i've broken a new record. Lol.

My prev record was like only 2 movies.

Yesterday was choir practice. Had sectionals.

Its was tiring, fun, crazy, busy, hilarious, serious, noisy and not to forget forgetful.

Nearing the end of the sectionals, our Mr Bryan helped BingCheng take his bag, coz the latter needed to lock the classroom. Bryan took his bag, but forgotten to take the A Maths, E Maths and Physics textbook which were ON TOP of the bag, that belonged to Bing Cheng.

Yeah, its HILARIOUS, right?

i mean, how could he miss it?

Its was like, ON TOP of the school bag and plus, its was THREE of 'em stacked on top of one another.

Yeah, so as a result, it led to us going back to school SPECIALLY to take the three books, coz there were homework to be done.

So, BingCheng, next time be more alert to prevent this from happening.

Moscow State Chamber Choir

Yesterday we (Me, Bing Cheng, Ying Yang, Tian Jie, Agnes and Cassell) went to Esplanade to watch the Moscow State ChamberChoir perform. The tickets were priced at $21, $35 and $50. We got the $35 tickets as the $21 ones were SOLD OUT and the $50 ones were simply too EXPENSIVE.

Anw, we met at Yishun mrt at 4.30pm. As usual, i arrived there first. Haha. Owned. Five mins later, guess what, Agnes came. Lol. Then Cassell arrived followed by Ying Yang, Tian Jie then lastly BingCheng. (As usual -_-) Lol.

Then we went to Timezone to play some games. Well, TJ and BC were the only ppl playing in our gruop, to be exact. I was damn BORED...

Aft bout 30 mins of games, we went to The Food Mall to have our dinner. Yay. I had fishball noodles. Yum!

Then aft dinner, we took the mrt to City Hall station. Lol, my card was rejected at the ticket gantry as when i was trying to pass through it at Yishun mrt station, TJ was behind me. So, i tapped my card at double speed. Resulting in the machine not reading my card. Then TJ tapped his card right aft me, so we both sorta went through together. -.- At that point of time, i didn't even know i didn't tapped my card properly. Damn, so had to get to the ticket counter to "fix" it. Sorry to the others who were waiting...;D

Walked through a shopping mall and an underpass and yay, we had finally reached The Esplanade! Woohoo!!!

The concert was nice, with the amazing voices of the choir. It was an adult choir, by the way. It endde at about 9.30pm, we just went around taking pics then took the mrt home.

Oh well. Today was at Bing's house slacking as usual,

Then that guy took out his laptop and showed me some vids.

Went to Mac to have lunch and got the purple coke glass cup.

Haha, it was beautiful.

Was with my mum later on at cwp.

Haha, i'm really blogging damn slowly nowadays. Lol. :)

On Friday

Was with my Sec 1 and 2 friend Ten Cheer, who transferred to NUS High between sec 2 to 3, and is currently in Year 3 now, in NUS High.

Yeah, so was with him for the whole afternoon. Almost the whole afternoon, anyway.

We had planned to watch a movie, Angels and Demons, but both cwp and np had no available time slots that was suitable for us, so we travelled all the wayto AMK Hub to watch. =]

We were supposed to meet up at AMK mrt station, then go buy the tix and refreshments together at AMK Cathay cinema. I reached the mrt station at 1.02pm, and TC said he will be late, so i waited patiently for him, at the station.

In the end, he arrived at 1.32pm. Lol. The movie was starting at 1.50pm, so we had to hurry a bit. We hastily bought the tix, the popcorns and the drinks, then we hurried into the cinema to our seats. Luckily for us, we had gotten two tix that was side by side, that means we were seating together, even though we bought the tix at the (almost) last minute. So, yeah, we sat down and watch the movie...

Basically, the movie was fine, with sufficent actions scenes and interesting sprinkles of history, geography and literature infos in it. I enjoyed myself. Just that the movie was rather different from the book and some nice parts of story from the book was missing from the movie. Sad lah... (T.T)

Robert Langdon was so damn smart and cool, despite his age. His quick wits make the movie thoroughly enjoyable, especially the part where he was running all over the city to search for the four churches that was associated with the four elements of namely: earth, air, fire and water. This movie is definitely a must-see. =]

Today got choir. Nothing to write about. Everything was okay, virtually everything.

At the end of practice, went to Mac with yy, kevin, basil and ZH.

Bing didn't come with us, coz he was with tj and Agnes. Lol. ~~Dunno what the hell that guy was thinking.~~He must have a very good reason for making that decision.

Aft that went to photocopy stuff with LZH.

The others left and went on their separate ways, leaving me with ZH.

As we were both taking bus from the same bus stop, I tagged along with Zehuan to photocopy "a few papers".

But what the hell, he had actually planned to photostat his (almost every) certificates and whatever achievements/qualifications he had acquired in his schooling years. Lol. He had photocopied about 30+ sheets which cost him $1.70, i think it was 5 cents per pcs.

Aft he had finished sorting out his papers, we went to the bus stop for the bus.

we chatted about choir stuff and the ppl, and i learnt quite a lot from him.

Seriously, i hope he won't go...

Well, I , nowadays, maybe can only blog, like, once a week. So i'll try tu post multiple posts at one go, or squeeze a whole week's of events into a post.

I hate chem, all that elements and periodic table is making me crazy. Well, actually, its the teacher who gives me problems. That Miss NgSC, like... so random say. She would just, for no apparent reason, say that i wasn't paying attention and scold me in front of the whole class. If a person scolded me for a LOGICAL/VALID reason, i would gracefully accept it. But, she's like....

Anyone who had been taught by her and attends her chem practical would know. She would, instead of correcting your mistakes, she will scold you and enbarrass you in front of the class. Mrs C leong is way better than her. Even if she's the HOD. (Miss NgSC or Mrs Lee. Its the same anw. i dont care.) She discourages me from learning Chemistry. Sometimes, when i get something right, she would just say "ok", and walk away. And her attitude in class just piss me off. She picks on particular groups of ppl, e.g. me.

I know i will get into trouble for saying all these, but it is my innermost thoughts of her. She might have alrd read this post and maybe will give me hell tmr, but i will accept it. What i'm saying, i'm sure some ppl out there would agree, in some way, witrh me, one way or the other. I'm not discriminating jher, it is just that she should be more human-like and stop treating us like her slaves, telling us to "shut up" or she will "punch you ah!!!" She must change her attitude, seriously, if not, even if her teaching methods is excellent, she will not be well-received by students.

But for some reason, some students (like james Ng) says that she's good. I also dunno why, but it's true. i would say that her way of teaching makes us understand well, but her manners are just the opposite.

Hi!! its like... eons since i'd blogged. On sat, the whole choir did CIP at juncti8n. It was by the Singapore Heart Foundation. We were supposed to walk around holding tin cans and asking ppl whether they wanted to donate money anot. although many ppl declined to give money, some donated and even gave notes like $2 or $5. At first, we decided to go to juncti8n to do the charity, but someone in the group suggested going to Toa Payoh. We all agreed, as there were way too many ppl in the mall. When we reached there, i was paired up with Kevin. The whole thing lasted for bout 4 hours and the group just strolled Toa Payoh and asked for donations. Including Ze Huan, Kevin and Bryan. I saw a Zinc sling bag that i wanted, but was short of a few dollars, so in the end, i didn't bought it. T.T

Also ate Mcdonalds with them, then shop aroud. We went to see the electronics exibition. It was neat. They promoted stuff like Creative products and electronic keyboards. after that, we went to a shop selling religious stuff. i won't mention which religion, but i took a look around the shop anyway. It sold lots of stuff, like bookmarks, books, CDs and ornaments, not to mention handicrafts.

Next, i said i wanted to get a Rubik cube. Ze Huan suggested Sun Plaza's Comics Connection. So we sorta MRT-ed there. Kevin was getting down at Woodlands as he wanted to go to library. So all of us got off the train except Kevin. Bryan tagged along for fun. Went to the shop and sure enough, there is was, displayed outside the shop. That cube cost me about $10 !! Iwas suprised and vowed to save up more to get the keychain version of the cube. After buying, Ze Huan went home, leaving me with Bryan to scoot around the mall. We lingered for about 20mins before we went on our seperate ways.

i did not even managed to raise half the can for charity, goodness knows how did some of the girls did it. Oh well, girls have special privileges, i guess. NO OFFENCE!!! Hope this post is interesting!!! :)

Tian jie- u may tink that he's a good person to talk to bt... i dun tink so...

yo!!! can use com 2dae. so gd... :) ya todae discussed bout Kevin's probs. On th whole, it was smooth-sailin' jz dat some ppl did nt agree wif my views. bt th prob was resolved n everybody gt that bit of pressure off them. so... ok la. bt if he really kenna kicked out, i wld b quite sad cz i will lose a gd guy to talk to. hahas. bt one thing i dun understand is, wt did Kevin do to make th other boys hate him SO much????

Basically, i feel that he is nt that bad actually, im sure sme of u agree wif me, bt its his attitude towards ppl that needs improvin'

his personality is ok, bt to ppl who disturb him, he feels a bit offended n also ....lik.... dislike them.

im nt sayin' that u r wrong, jz dat be a bit nicer n polite to him, at least treat him lik a part of CHOIR. everyone feels sad when they r ostracized by his/her peers. im dead sure u all agrees wif me XD

so jz lik... if u dun lik him, jz talk lesser to him, dont say impolite stuff...hehe.

hi. back again. today was ok, but some note cannot reach... so sad . eaten too mch KFC till voice sore and weird... anw, bryan was v. grumpy, ok la, ht that grumpy bt still QUITE grumpy, that ******* kept on forcin' me to sing high notes, which i can't coz i've gt a sore throat. lucky T.J. came to my rescue n told him off. Many thanks!!! XD i juz dun geddit... y can't they understand? Its nt lik i've nt tried... its jz dat i really can't do it, even though i've tried. But i don't blame him. He was jz doin' his duty as the relief pianist cum SL. hahas.. bt anw i still quite sad at that Kevin. he oni mouthed th wordz n did nt even try to sing!!! nvm... i will NOT guve up on him.. i can tell dat he has a great voice, jz dat he is nt willin' to sing coz of some ppl comment. iSWEAR that i'll nt giv up on him n make him sing...b4 i garduate. i won tell him dis, bt jz keep it frm him. BC n TJ seems to be quite PREJUDICED towards him... Hmmmm.. mayb i'll try to change 'em.. OMG, so many stuff to do... all MUST ba accomplished b4 i leave. Heehee. gtg.

nth to do today.... jz wrote th notes 4 The White Horse and then slack. Hv nt even started my holiday assignment. But i dun care!!! I'll do it in Dec, maybe... been feelin' th temptation to change phones every nw n then. haha XD practice abt 2 times a week is almost akin 2 normal sch. schedule. gt X'mas carolin' n SYF plus Sec1 orientation cmin' up.
